Kevin Fielding Chairman
Kevin’s core expertise is building and managing companies in the semiconductor industry. His previous experience was as President and CEO, ParthusCeva (Nasdaq: CEVA); President, Parthus Technologies plc (IPO 2000); founder and MD, the StrongARM microprocessor business (acquired by Intel 1998); DEC (original Alpha processor); Philips BV (high-speed processor design); National Microelectronics Research Centre, Cork.
Kevin has an MBA from Northeastern University, Boston and a Masters and BE degrees in Electrical Engineering, University of Ireland, Cork.
Eugene Heaney CEO
Eugene brings twenty years of experience in wireless applications, components and systems, including nine years leading new ventures and building businesses around technology. In 1998 he setup M/A-Com's IC product development centre in Ireland and delivered transceiver and RF front end products to the leading wireless manufacturers in Europe. In 2001 he co-founded Winova/DTx, a corporate venture within Tycoelectronics, that demonstrated significant innovation in delivering all digital transmitters for wireless applications.
Eugene holds an MBA from London Business School and aFirst Class Honours Degree and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Ireland Cork.
Will Prendergast Director
Will Prendergast, B. Eng, holds a first class honours degree in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin. Prior to joining NCB he was employed by Accenture in London as a strategy consultant. During this time he managed teams in the delivery of operational and strategic reviews for a range of clients in the healthcare, software, consumer goods and life sciences sectors. His assignments have included feasibility and market entry studies, outsourcing strategies, customer relationship management projects and post acquisition integration strategies.
Frank Walsh Director
Frank has worked in investment finance in both the United States and Ireland for over 15 years. His direct experience includes investment banking, equity research, venture capital, and joint venture development. Frank has helped numerous technology companies raise both public and private capital as part of Initial Public Offerings, Secondaries, PIPE’s, and Venture Fundings.
In addition to his international Corporate Finance experience, Frank worked directly with a number of Irish start-ups to help them maximise their business potential, drive company growth, and importantly, to do so in a manner than enhanced the company’s ability to attract external investment. Finally, Frank was a founding director of two companies since his return to Ireland, both of which operated successfully and were ultimately sold.
